Approval by the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association
This 40-Hour Basic Mediation Training provides 38 of the 40 hours required to apply for a TMCA Credential through the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association. The required two additional hours are available through completion of the “Texas-Specific Mediator Short Course.” This short course is taught via Zoom. Please email txmca.2001@gmail.com to request the contact information for trainers of this course.
Private Mediation
There are no requirements to accept private clients as a mediator. Erin’s class will teach you all the basics to begin mediating, including recommendations for advanced topics you should consider in your private practice.
Court Rosters:
Erin’s training meets the requirements of the 40 training in the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code § 154.052 but has not been approved by local courts. You should contact your local court for more information
