Private Mediation
There are no requirements to accept private clients as a mediator. Erin’s class will teach you all the basics to begin mediating, including recommendations for advanced topics you should consider in your private practice.
Court Rosters:
Erin’s training meets the requirements of the 24 hour Initial Mediation Training in Section 146.4(b)(1), but is not approved by the courts, and there is a pause on approving new courses. There are additional case-type-specific training requirements that require specific NY components. You can find general information about mediation in the NY courts here, and contacts for regional and local coordinators here.

Community Dispute Resolution Centers (CDRC)
